Bienvenida!

Bienvenue, Willkommen, Velkommen, Välkomnande and Welcome...

Welcome to the largest "Eldorado" resource on the internet, where the skies are always blue (certainly the pages are).  Some may wonder why I've created a website dedicated to a 18 year-old soap opera that only lasted a year.  Well these days it's hard to find much about "Eldorado" anywhere.  The show enjoyed several reruns on "UK Gold", but now it's in danger of being resigned to the memories of those who know better.  That's why I decided to create this website - as a lasting tribute to the show and all the people who worked so hard to make those "golden dreams" a reality.

I'd also like the world to know that "Eldorado" was really rather good, and never deserved to be axed.  The faults of the show were always far better publicised than the strengths - but we know the truth don't we?  We actually liked the idea of a show set amidst stunning scenery, that didn't take itself too seriously and dared to be different.

So sit back, crack open that sangria, and let's toast the "sunshine soap" - we miss you...
